Theres a couple of things I want to discuss with you all.

We knew when we were blessed with the opprotunity to make this show, that we had a good concept.  But we were still in the infancy stages, and for all intents and purposes flying blind.  I mean, how many times does somebody say "I want you to make me a TV show for this network...get busy."?  Maybe that happens regularly for some folks, but not us...first time.  So trying to intertwine this field that we have a passion for, with the every day chaos of producing a distribution worthy television show, on TOP of the business end,  with Incorporating our company, getting a good CPA, etc...
...well, it was tough.

I said that to highlite a point...when we started amidst all the chaos, we knew basically what we wanted to do with the show, but as the season progressed, we found ourselves, and figured out EXACTLY what we wanted to do with the show.

and THAT, my friends, is the reason for this blog.  Allow me to explain.

There are a couple of basic moral/principle components we as a group function by.  One of which being honesty.(and possibly the most important)

Basically, we wont lie to you.  or anybody.  So we made On the Fringe a documentary.  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, if you're not already aware... But there is NO SUCH THING as "Reality" paranormal shows on TV.  They are dramatized.  Says so in the program description. 

So this is where we found ourselves.  We are the grass-roots movement to put the REAL in REALITY paranormal television.  It has become our sole purpose in this show:  To put the REALITY of paranormal/cryptozoological research out there.  We want to show the world, what YOU, as the everyday investigator see and do.  YOU, the ones who do not have a TV show, who do not get paid(keeping in mind, neither do we at this point...lol) to go investigate, YOU who have real jobs, and go out every weekend at a loss of sleep to investigate this thing you have a passion for.  It is our MISSION!  We've been there, done that just as you have.  We still do.

So docu-drama be damned, this is the real deal.  As you well know, the ghosts and bigfoots dont always show up.  If they dont for us...well, you dont see them.  Nor do you see us flipping out at the *CREEEEEAAAKKKK* we heard in the next room. Or the cow walking the next field over.   You see four guys standing in a pasture north of Kansas City freezing the behinds off waxing philosophical about how to deal with NOTHING HAPPENING.  Thats how we roll.

And this is where you come in.
We desperately WANT your participation.  We WANT your involvement.  You ar ENCOURAGED to be a part of this.  And all you have to do is care as much as we do.  Email us your stories for our "All about you" section of our website, where we put your stories out there for the world to see.  We WANT you to email us your stories for all of the information sharing we're trying to do with the website.  We WANT you in the SHOW!!!  If you can put us onto a great haunt near your hometown, and we can come investigate...You're coming with us!  You will guide us through your local legends.  We want your comments here on myspace, we want you information for the website, we want to spear-head this movement to make the rest of the world see what this is REALLY, ACTUALLY all about!!!  And its through all of you, communicating with us, telling your friends, forwarding our blogs and videos and stories and websites that this can happen. 

We truly appreciate you all...all of your support, all of your emails, all of your everything...and thats why we want you to be a part of this.  You are the REASON we make On the Fringe, and its only fair that we do everything in our power to help you to be a part of it.

Yes, Im begging.  Simply because I dont think people truly understand how MUCH WE WANT your emails.  Your thoughts, theories and experiences.  We DO NOT get ENOUGH emails.  So please, get in touch.  As an example, we have had one good long-standing relationship with PSI and DeadTime Paranormal of Oregon, and we are GOING to Oregon this year, to shoot an hour-long straight to DVD special with these two amazing groups.  And its all because they got in touch.
